Q: Is there a fee to enter Sandhill Fields?

A: We do not charge an entrance fee. Private events do require a reservation fee and those events may have separate fees not associated to our facility.

Q: What are your hours of operation?

A: The complex will be open from sunrise to sunset. Our gates will open and close accordingly. Please do not tamper with the automated gate. 

Q: Do you have restrooms?

A: Yes. We have a men's and women's restroom facility centrally located to our soccer fields and pickleball courts.

Q: Is any part of the complex ever closed?

A: Yes. Please refer to our weather policy page to gain an understanding of closures. Our soccer fields may be closed due to field conditions or maintenance, yet our pickleball courts may remain open. The same can be said about our trails. 

Q: Are bikes permitted at Sandhill Fields?

A: Unfortunately, no. 

Q: When should I reserve a field or court?

A: If you are coming out to play with friends or family for recreational play a field/court reservation is not needed. If you are looking for an organized game or event, exclusive to specific individuals or you are looking to profit from a business endeavor, a reservation is needed. A request must be made at least 48-hours in advance. Please contact sandhillfields@gmail.com for more information.

Q: Does Sandhill Fields host youth tournaments?

A: Yes, we do. We are excited to have local and national teams compete at our facility. 

Q: Is there food available onsite?

A: There is not a dedicated concession stand at our facility. We do have a variety of food trucks that are present for events. Our circle is equipped with hook-ups for five food trucks.

Q: I am unfamiliar with southern Delaware. What is there to do?

A: Southern Delaware offers a wide variety activities for individuals of all ages. We encourage you to explore the Southern Delaware Tourism site.
